These bunny-shaped pretzels and crackers sure appeals to my children.  They are crunchy, cheesy and lightly seasoned.  What I like most about these snacks is that ingredients are organic and natural.  No artificial flavors or synthetic preservatives, and made with sea salt, yummy!

This snack is a good alternative to Goldfish and Cheez-its.

In all, this is a good snack.   I still give this snack a thumbs up, but  keeping in mind servings specially for younger children.

The not so ‘known’ ingredients dissected:

Citric Acid – It is a natural preservative which occurs naturally in citrus fruits and is also used to add an acidic or sour taste to foods and drinks.

Lactic Acid – Lactic acid is used as a food preservative, curing agent, and flavoring agent. Lactic acid is naturally present in many foodstuffs. It is formed by natural fermentation in products such as cheese, yogurt, soy sauce, sourdough, meat products and pickled vegetables.

Sodium Phosphate – Sodium phosphates have many applications in food and for water treatment. For example, sodium phosphates are often used as emulsifiers, thickening agents, and leavening agents for baked goods. They are also used to control pH of processed foods. They are also used in medicine for constipation and to prepare the bowel for medical procedures.
