The secret to delicious ground beef is very finely chopped/diced vegetables that give it moisture and flavor.

This grass-fed ground beef meal is mixed with, wait for it, broccoli, lacinto kale and basil. The kids devour it and asked for thirds!

Serve with spaghetti and optional tomato sauce

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup broccoli thinly chopped
  • 2 leaf lacinto kale finely chopped
  • 1 handful fresh basil finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tsp Herbamere or your choice of prepare herbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs organic grass-fed ground beef
Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat.  Saute the broccoli, kale for about 3 minutes and sprinkle some salt.  

  2. Remove vegetables from wok and set them aside.

  3. Add remaining olive oil to hot wok and

  4. Sprinkle 2 tsp of herbamere or choice of dried herbs on ground beef.  Add ground beef to wok and cook until it is mostly brown.

  5. Add cooked vegetables back in the wok and stir with ground beef.

  6.  Lower heat and add chopped basil and cover for about 3 minutes.

  7. Remove from heat.  Add more salt or herbamere if desired.

I love cooking with herbamere.  An original organic herb seasoning salt enhances the flavor of dishes such as beef, chicken, vegetables and fish.

Another great thing about herbamere is that is free of artificial flavorings, dairy, wheat and gluten.
