55+ names for Sugar!!

It is quite startling the effort food manufactures go through to make labels look better than they are.  I was just in awe when I saw this list of alternate names for sugar used by many food manufactures.

It is also interesting to note that the government has no specific recommendation for added sugars we should consume per day (they sure ‘recommend’ other things! but I won’t get into that here).

    The diet industry is polarised around simple debates such as fat vs sugar because there are huge amounts of money at stake. Farmers, food manufacturers, lobbyists, scientists and authors of diet books need to defend one or other side.
